Taniquea Reid - Personal Injury Attorney

Miami Attorney Taniquea ReidBorn in Kingston, Jamaica, Taniquea Reid is an attorney with The Cochran Firm-South Florida.  Her practice focuses on personal injury, maritime, and medical malpractice.  Taniquea graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in African American Studies. While attending Florida State University, Taniquea helped to organize and protested at one of the Martin Lee Anderson marches in Tallahassee, Fl. She received her J.D. from St. Thomas University, School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude. In law school, Taniquea was a Student Tax Attorney for the law school’s Tax Clinic, Certified Tax Preparer for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Organization, Research Assistant, Treasurer of the Black Law Students Association Student Bar Association, Member of one of the school’s Law Review, and Member of Caribbean Association of Lawyers. She was among a select group of students participating in the Honorable Peter T. Fay Inns of Court.

Prior to joining the Cochran Firm, Taniquea was an intern at the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. She worked as a Student Intern/Adviser for The Permanent Mission of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Nations. She was also a Legal Assistant at Brown & Assoc. LLC.

Taniquea is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
