Number of Delayed Traffic Fatalities and Injuries Are on The Rise

According to an article that appeared in Florida Today  on August 28, 2011, the number of delayed traffic fatalities and injuries are on the rise.  It is possible for catastropic injury and even death to occur days, weeks, and in some cases, months after the initial accident.  Victims themselves may believe they are unharmed at first, only to experience symptoms much later.
It should concern everyone that these delayed traffic fatalities are on the rise.  An injury or death that occurs long after the initial accident makes it much more difficult for victims to receive justice and for perpetrators to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
